I was mostly trying to take a photo of this beautiful yellow flower. But, then the bee landed on it and I was able to get both.

Saw this butterfly as I was walking back toward my car. It found the last remaining dandelion in the park and made sure to get some lunch.

Still Busy

There are lots of late-season flowers blooming in the park right now and the bees, like this one, have been hard at work gathering pollen before it gets cold.

Same problem as the moth. The flower simply refused to hold still because of the wind. But, I had to at least try to get the photo of these bees grabbing as much pollen as they could.

Moth

It was really hard to get this photo because of the wind. The flower kept moving back and forth without a break. This was the best out of about 10 tries.

I saw this as I was walking back toward my car. I thought its wings looked fantastic against the background and grabbed the photo at just the right time.

Busy Bumblebee

I'm not sure if this bee was getting pollen or taking a nap because it sat perfectly still as I moved in close to get this photo.

I saw this little guy while back to my car. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to open its wings any more than this. However, I do think it looks like it has a face on the side of its wing.

I was able to get a picture of this bee today as it was on one of the plants collecting some pollen.

I saw this little bug as I was nearing my car. It must have been tired because it didn't budge the whole time I was trying to get in position to get its photo.
