Do you think it's wise for schools to replace physical books w/ IPads?

I have completed my diploma engineering in electronics after completing my 10th from india. (ie 10+3 years) and would like to do gradaution. I know that i can do B.Teh/B.E .. But i want to know what all are the other possiblites...
