We always have delicious food at my Moms. She is a brilliant cook. Tonight we are having boiled gammon with fried potatoes. Oh so yummy.

So, just after Christmas the restaurants are very quiet so they usually have good deals on. Today we went for a carvery as this week they only cost £6 each ….usually weekdays they cost £10.79 each.

So for tea this evening we are having gammon. It is in the saucepan boiling away as I type. With this we’re going to have salad, lettuce, cucumber, home grown cherry tomatoes, beetroot. Also boiled new potatoes.

So this afternoon my Mom has been cooking a gammon joint. She puts it in a huge pan , covered in water and boils then simmers it til cooked, and still juicy.
