First it was the walkman,with its small size, it was a darling of everybody. Then came discman, where the number of songs were higher and the quality of the sound improved. Then came the Mp3 player with 1 or 2 Gb and no batteries...

i've always wondered this and just thought someone might be able to answer it. why is it when you buy an 80gb hard drive you only get like 74gb's or a 40gb hard drive you only get 37.5gb's? if we are paying for 80gbs shouldn't we...
