Are gherkins fatterning?

My friend is eating them all the time and she asked me yesterda if they were fatterning and I honestly didnt know? I suppose they shouldnt be as they are mostly water based but does anybody know?

Gherkins are nothing but cucumbers. Do you know the water content in a gherkin? Its more than 98%.
