What age do you feel it is appropriate for girls to start wearing makup?

I just heard this question on TV so I thought I would ask it. I think they should be like 13. My wife said she thinks it is fine to start wearing lip gloss around age 11, and then slowly start to use other things at the age of 12...

okk now the aim of this discusiion is to find out y girls take so much time doing their make up I know that they won't to look the best but still i personally feel that girls have this habit that even if they want to go somewhere...
