I am reading Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. Crazy stuff. Do you have a favorite author you would recommend that is similar to his work? On another note, who wrote slaughter house five?

How do you decide what book to read?

Does a book catch your eye because of the front cover? Or do you read the synopsis? Do you only read what friends have suggested? Maybe you have favorite authors that you only read their books and wait impatiently for the next one...
