Most restaurants and hotels have hand dryers in their rest rooms. Rightly so as hand dryers are cheaper. and also they need to clean the room as many irresponsible customers throw paper around after it is used rather than place...

I have use both in public restrooms. Sometimes both options are available to use and I choose whichever is available. However, if I had my preference I would go with the hand dryer. I find them more effective in drying my hands...
