Okay I am finally getting rid of dial up connection this Thursday after 18 years of the slowness. Now the problem is I am goinf nuts just waiting for UPS to deliver my modem and then the waiting till Thursday for the service...

I just hate dial-up, it runs so slow, and I can't even watch videos on my computer. I am planning on upgrading to highspeed next month though, so that is good. So, how many others are dealing with the nuisanse of dial-up?

Adsl light on modem

Does anyone know why the adsl light goes off on the modem and you loose your internet connection. The phone wires were all changed,the box where you plug phone and high speed was changed 5 times,i returned the modem to telus...
