Online shopping vs in store shopping

So I have been talking to a friend the other day about the convenience of shopping online but she insist that she like to be able to try on her clothing before she purchase them...so do you guys like to shop online or in store?

I am going to enter my college for the first time on coming monday. I am very nervous and am really worried. What has college life instore for me? Only God knows!! Can you mylotters out there share your first day of college...
