Have you ever developed a sudden allergy?

Yesterday I discovered I might be allergic or intolerant to nuts. I have barely eaten nuts in my entire life but yesterday I ate a LOT of nuts 3 times and a couple of minutes later puked it. I don't think it was bad digestion...
