How do I fix my laptop?

I have been using my laptop for two years now and suddenly the space bar doesnt work, I would like to ask assistance for those who are computer whiz?Please, I wanna hear suggestions.Thank you my fellow mylotters.

i recently came across a newly realeased product,it is a notebook called Assu Eee pc,its as flat as just two DVD cases stacked together ,the amazng thing is it does not use windows,its battery is small,butcan keep the system...
