Which do you prefer LCD or CRT monitors? Is it true that CRT monitor have greater resolution than the LCD? For viewing purposes would you prefer the CRT over the LCD?

LCD monitors consume less power than normal monitor.

yes its true lcd monitors consume less power than normal monitor. so if you are planning to upgrade your monitor then i think you should go for a lcd monitor. Its expensive than the normal one but by the course of time the money...
