Desmond created an alternate future by getting hit in the head at the bar. Maybe that reality will catch up and unfold to an existance where Shannon and Boone never die. Now that would be nice. But its ok if Anna Lucia stays...

I can't seem to find anyone talking about when the hatch blew and Penelope was notified as if she were tracking Desmond. And is her father funding Dharma? I would love to hear some theories.
