Manatees are also called sea cows. They are found in the Carribean Sea, the Amazon Basin and the Gulf of Mexico.
The reason they are called sea cows is due to their face having similarity with cows in the land.

Most people know sea cows by the more familiar name of Manatees. Every season when the waters are cold further up north they come here and for the warmer waters and to mate.
Where I live our properties are surrounded by docks...
