Tried to go for a half hour walk, but wound up going about twenty-one minutes (11:30 the time I left, and 11:51 the time I got back).
It was hot out there. My computer Thermometer says 77° F, but it felt a bit closer to 87° F....

Many times these beautiful Gulf Fritillary butterflies are mistaken for the Monarch. From a distance they look very similar. The orange color is almost identical.
