Is it ok to make Remake of a movie????

Now a days, Every film maker is using the same trick to earn an easy money.Everyday new movies are coming. They all have the same concept to remake the Old super hit movies.Do you think that is fair????

..or it could be otherwise, the original is still better than the remake.. i just want to cite Ocean's Eleven. I saw the original and the plot there was better compared to the remade version with George Clooney, et al..and now...
