My mower does not have quite enough battery life to mow the entire front yard, but I sure gave it a good try.
That is what I did after supper, mow. It was still 82 degrees at that time. Now it is down to 77.
The cats are in....

Yes, every time the city's people do that, i am glad i'm wearing my sneakers but when it gets warmer, i have to be careful, not to jeopardize myself with their grass leftovers and some branches too.
I know this is a physical job...

You may remember some of my neighbors took down a big cedar tree that had splintered out due to heavy winds. They had left the bigger pieces until a later date. That date had not yet come for them to split it and remove the...

Just when the season starts, that's the last time you want to run into a problem. But things break when you need them, while you're using them. That's just how it works. But what a royal pain in the you-know-what.
I went for my...

I have a little more to mow, and then I can take a nice cool shower.
It is a little on the warmish side today. Couple that with little bugs and grass clippings and it is a recipe for itchiness.
I mowed a tiny bit before I went...

Today is lovely and cool.
We went to church, and then did one load of laundry while in town, so I have my school/work clothes ready and clean.
There was a place to donate aluminum cans to help Habitat for Humanity so we got a...

The grass still gets clumpy from all of the moisture. I mowed off and on today until my battery died.
Plugged in the battery and went on the lookout at some wild flowers with Bob.
He went and bought his favorite pizza last...

It is quite hot outside, but the grass is still wet underneath, so it clumps up under the deck of the mower. Bob has it set up to mulch and I am sure that is part of the problem.
It drags a bit as well, because the grass is...

It is hot. I have mowed twice for a little bit and will do more after supper, when it cools down a little.
Good news. . . Jane is home from the hospital. She was having those symptoms because of a medicine she has been taking to...

I mowed the front yard, pulled some weeds, and then I went downtown to Zogies.
He is a very small shop and did not have what I wanted, but I will look at a larger grower on Sunday.
I did get some red, white, and blue vinca to...

I decided to tackle the front lawn today and it was quite cumbersome. I hadn't charged the battery for both the lawn mower and the edger and ran out halfway - so took a break. It looks way better after mowing and edging the lawn -...

Last week, I finally got around to mowing the backyard. The grass was overgrown and there were plenty of weeds. It took quite an effort to mow it down and I may have damages the grass. There's still a lot of weeds to be removed....

It is down to 87 degrees, and almost dark. Bob is outside mowing some of our very tall grass. That is what I planned before I got this nasty cold.
Bruno is in and is calling for my attention.
Lunch was very late and was a...

With all the rain last week the grass is tall, and we have dew that causes it to stay wet clear up until noon, just about.
After lunch we were able to go get Bob's little Capri. I mowed and did yard work from about 10 a.m. til...

No. I am not referencing the popular commercial on TV advertising Servpro's cleaning and restoration services. I am talking about the leaves in the yard that become a recurring task every fall.
I never rake them, opting to simply...

I am up. Bob is up. Trash to the curb.
I cannot eat until after these tests. Worse yet, I cannot even drink any coffee. Probably because it raises your heartrate.
At the end of last week we had nearly two inches of rain. Now...
