Are there any music producing software that's absolutely freeware?

You know, you can create music with it, it can make guitar or piano or violin sounds and you can convert it into mp3... ...but it is absolutely free, not just free to try but absolutely free? Hope someone can help

what software do you use for downloading music

Which software do you use for downloading music? I use Limewire. It is pretty good as it returns accurate results and file transfers are never interrupted and also has a friendly user interface. What software d you use?
