friend my star rating in the first is 10 and now daily its decreasing to 5 and now its 5 and i don't know what it say's Is it good or bad.Means iam getting positive or nagative rating

I've noticed the positive and negatvie signs next to everyone's comments? Am I supposed to go and rate anyone that posts? How many of you do that? What is the beneift to the poster/an or me of doing that? thanks

Is there anyway to check your ratings besides the star with the number in it?

My rating when down 1 number and I was wondering if you can see the reason why. If it was because someone rated me negatively or if my lot felt a broke a rule, etc. I'm just curious to see whether My Lot knocked me down a notch...

I've seen a number of people write that they are annoyed by how few people rate their responses to questions... I didn't even notice the rating when I spent my first few hours here yesterday. What exactly do the ratings do?
