Can somebody explain how a book...lets say a Harry Potter book, gets translated into an Asian language. I mean, the oriental languages are so far removed from our own roman derived languages that it seems impossible that...

I think it will still take a rather long time in the occidental part of this planet. Been as there are people from all parts of the world on this forum I would really like to know your opinion about the question above.
