Has anyone ever had this done to them. This year the Department of Education took our federal taxes. They took 4,900 dollars to go towards my husbands student loans. I don't mind that they took them but I don't think they should...

Are western countries subsidising global pricing models?

Reason I ask is this.... In Australia it costs over ten dollars for a packet of cigarettes yet in the Philippines I can buy a CARTON (10 packets) of the same brand of cigarettes for the equivalent of seven Australian dollars.......
