Yesterday, as I entered Claudia´s house, I saw a sort of old dirty mop on one of Claudia´s sofas. But no. It was Ferguson, Claudia´s oldest cat by far, asleep. That cat was a beauty when he was young. He is almost totally white...

Have you had a pet that lived for a long time?

I had a cat that lived to the ripe old age of 20. She was born as the runt of the litter to a stray cat that my family had adopted when I was young and wound up outliving all of our other pets. She never weighed more than 4.5 lbs...
