I want to write a children's book...can you help me?

My GD has the amazing ideas, I have the gramatical ability, so we want to try to write a children's book. Anyone do this? Any tips? Any tips on where to send for publishing? Looking at the -3-5 age group. Thanks for any help.

Dear friends, I have been away from here a lot. Among the other things, I finished my book and sent it to some editors. I wish I could publish it, but it seems very difficult and unlikely. Anyway, I am here keeping my fingers...
