Do you bother with rechargable batteries

I have some rechargable batteries, but it seems that they never get recharged. I'm alway having to go out and get batteries. Does anyone here have rechargable batteries, or do you just go buy them when you need them??

I have started buying more rechargable batteries since we have ALL of these remotes and the kids also have the controlers for thier games and flashlights and this and that and everything is on batteries anymore. So I went ahead...
