What family recipe do you have for homemade cookies/brownies?

I am looking for an interesting homemade cookie and/or brownie that I can serve to our family and use it for several days. There are only three living in our home now. I appreciate your assistance in this matter.

After eating someone else pasta I'm always left wondering what I do wrong. How do they make it so moist. Do they use EVOO or margarine after cooking it. How do you cook your pasta?
