Do you see stars or sparkly stuff when you lack sleep?

So.. Haha. I'm asking because I do see things like sparkly stuff when I really lack sleep. What do you guys experience when you lack sleep? Sometimes I'd feel like my brain is.. "dry." Haha. I don't know how that is even possible....
