why is sleeping in the night still better than sleeping during the day

i just came from a night duty and i slept the whole day,,, but i feel that still my sleep is not enough and i feel like lightheaded... can somebody explain why night sleep i still better than day sleep???

I simply love sleeping during the day when am at home. But i think there are some people who cannot sleep during the day. Share your views...
