Girl groups & boy bands or solo artists

There hasn't been any proper boy bands around for a while, just male guitar bands. There are some girls bands around, but not as many as there used to be. The girl groups are largely pop and the new "boy bands" are pop-indie....

i like a wide variaty of songs and bands like 2pac and akon but i don't rally have 1 fav. i like all of them about the same
