Got news this evening that my ex-stepfather may have had a stroke. Last we knew he is still alive, but I am concerned for him. We haven't always gotten along, but I still want him to be okay.
I'm hoping for the best,...

I have noticed a lot of people think I'm running myself into the ground being both a wife and care giver. While it's true I can't leave George alone right now, it's not like I don't have time to sit down and rest. I give meds and...

The old Chessmaster, Artove Breskevski, was approaching 80 now, but he remained a formidably strong chess player.
And so, he was playing a match in his latest tournament, and he was ahead in the game, with a nice attacking...

Back at the hospital with George. He had his second meal of the day. I feel like a hypocrite encouraging him to eat with his right hand, his now weak, but dominate hand, when I wouldn't dare try with my own right hand. However, I...

George is doing well. He's allowed to be reclined in bed, and is feeling much more comfortable. The neurologist allowed them to pause his blood thinners in order for him to get a lung biopsy. They want to make sure the nodule...
