Its better taking vitamins everyday?

I'm taking vitamins eveydays, especially vit C and zinc. Some people said that can be effect to health. It is true? Well better we should ask the doctor. What do you think guys? What vitamins do you takes?

I care for an 83yr old diabetic. shes a wonderful woman but can be incredibly stubborn. mostly when it comes to her medications. if she sees a commercial on tv for a medicine that sounds like one of hers she will there after...
