Not the four legged kind, but a tiger lily. Characterized by the black spots on the petals and the recurved shape. Of course as a child I wondered why it was not a leopard lily as tigers have stripes.

Well my first Asiatic Lily finally opened up Thursday afternoon. I have many of these in my front yard and can't wait till they are all opened up. Just wanted to share it.
