How Valuable to Yourself Helping Others?

Helping others doesnt mean a lot for us to sacrifice once but its a kind of feeling you would have ever been emagine and. Is it really valuable to you when you feel you help someone? why?

Look at the photograph attached. This photograph is of a girl draped in saree sleeping in a train compartment. The homeless children, who are regularly exploited. How best to help them?
