How would you cut traffic congestion in your city?

I hate the traffic. I spend so much time due to this annoying problem. There are many solutions to avoid trafic congestion, but nobody seems to care about them. Whenever I can, I prefer to walk or use public transport.

It seems traffic is getting worse and worse now,more congestion is typical in bigger cities.Traffic jams aren't just annoying,they are expensive.Just imagine the extra money and fuel we wasted because of traffic jam,by add them up...
