American Citizens could be forced to pay a war tax. This was a bleak warning from David Obey, chairman of the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee. This tax would cost high earners 5% of their incomes. Lower earners would pay less. This tax would act just like Round Up; killing any green shoots popping up after the dismal recession we suffered. Democrats fear that Obama deepening the war(s) in Afghanistan and or Iraq will kill the still very fragile recovery of the US economy.
