This is a picture of a tree in my grandmothers backyard. She brought back a seed when she went to Ireland several years ago but has forgotten the trees name. If you know what kind of tree this is, please let me know.

i saw a lot of ginkgo tree in korea, even in seoul city, street, countryside. gingko tree is a genus of highly unusual non-flowering plants with one extant species, the ginkgo leaves contains flavonoid glycosides and terpenoid and has been used pharmaceutically. it has many alleged nootropic properties, and mainly used as memory and concentration enhancer, and anti-vertigo agent. and i have buy a pillow with ginkgo leaves in malaysia.
