Most religions a child is born into is what they believe. When should a child be babtized? What does Babtism mean to you? Are you babtized?

My husband and children are babtized Catholics. I tried to become a Catholic for many years but because I was married before the Catholic rules have not allowed me to enter this religion faithfully. What are your opinions on this?...
