You need to do some tests and pass them over here to get a full driver's license. Most people often start with provincial license that allows them to drive for 1 year until they get the full license. Some people can take practical...

Two hours ago, George decided he wanted to go out in the van. No plan, nothing. He saw me put another gallon of milk in the recycle bin this morning with some trash for the dumpster. We drink a gallon every couple of days so...

It's her first one since she last modeled in May so she's excited but nervous. I am not looking forward to the drive though. It's very windy and there's always a risk of lake effect snow/crappy driving conditions.

The van is warming up now, and I was able to back it out of our snowy driveway and into the street.
Of course I did not leave it there.
Bob will go to his appointment in Wichita at the VA.
I will go work.
Tomorrow will be cold...

I was talking to The Mister earlier and he was telling me about a work colleague of his ….who I have met a few times ….and the fact that due to several speeding offences he has now lost his license.
Unfortunately, they have a job...

2:38 by my computer clock, now--and my visitors aren't here yet, but I'm guessing they're driving carefully, as they're coming from two towns over in the rain. Of course, now the plants on my patio are getting a thorough watering....

It is quite hot outside, but the grass is still wet underneath, so it clumps up under the deck of the mower. Bob has it set up to mulch and I am sure that is part of the problem.
It drags a bit as well, because the grass is...

At the moment I am having to use taxis often to go to hospital appointments. We use the same taxi firm each time and it is a firm that we have used over several years.
I had reason to ring and complain about a driver today and...

This isn't Aussie humour - it's a shoddy tradie job. You could argue saying that the traffic signal sequence change warranted a sign that stated the obvious in a slightly different way, but in the end it's just a sign that wasn't...

It's getting a bit late, but we have a couple hours of sun left. George asked for his keys and wallet, but then asked for ham and chease. So, we'll see how he feels after grazing. At least it's eating. Not a full meal mind you,...

A few days ago, George started talking about driving. He had said enough was enough. After sitting idol for so long, the batter had died. So, I ordered a portable jumper box off of Amazon and it came today. After spending time to...

I was driving in the National Highway yesterday, driving close to 50km/hr. It was a two-way road due to some renovation. All of a sudden, I see two people coming at good speed in a scooter trying to overtake a bus and I had to...

Yes, India is congested and crowded and sometimes the infrastructure can seem a little shaky, but there's constant improvement. This is a new highway being built between Bangalore and Chennai and someone sent me pictures of some...

I've seen weird and funny things here is Australia and this one made me chuckle too. There's never a dull moment in the land down under - literally. This car had long poles/pipes on top and it was the drivers duty to warn drivers...

I have spent most of the day inside, either in buildings or on roads, but it is still great to see the sun and the ground with no snow.
Today I had lab for a check up next week, then we hopped in the car to go for Bob's cataract...

Good day to you all. As you can see from the photo, we got the snow they said we were going to get. That was about 2pm and now at 3 pm it is still coming down pretty good.
Sorry about the bad quality of the photo but that is...

Listening without attention is often seen with little value. But then there are scenarios it can be useful.
I was caught in a bad traffic that kept me on road for some time. What kept me going was listening to radio. I did enjoy...

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well.
I have a teenage daughter who drives. She's really struggling with parking in crowded parking lots. What methods have ya'll used to help practice?
I don't want to have her keep trying...
