Holistic mediceine vs. Medical Science

I believe that holistic medicine is a good thing for certain things but I do not think it should replace real doctors and medicine like some of my friends do. It is an arguement we get into quite often. What is your opinion?

how many of you think that a natural healing option should be something a doctor recommends or at least mentions when he trys to push some kind of drug on you.
