Salad from our First Garden

Here is the first salad we made from our first garden -- leaf lettuce, scallions, green onions, hosta leaves, dandelion green and flower, parsley. Tasty and tender.

These are some of the salad ingredients we picked from our garden. It is actually from a thinning of the garden, but we have used edible hasta leaves, dandelion green and flower, green onions, scallions, parsley and leaf lettuce. All grown in our own yard.

This is my lettuce and should be ready to eat in a week or so time.
