This is an excellent book to read and highly recommended. The book is about a woman named Meri. She suffers from a severe case of depression. This affects her daily life. Though she is extremely intelligent, it is hard for her to function due to her condition. She could not concentrate on anything. And also, the father of her baby had abused Meri constantly. Even her parents often criticized her. Her biggest regret though was not being able to attend to her daughter's needs. Here is a quote from the book: "More than any of the appointments I've canceled, friends that I've lost, or projects that I have bungled on account of depression what I regret most are the times that I was unable to properly tend to my daughter's needs."

Last night, I've done something I haven't done for a long time, I stayed up late! Yep, actually flopped into bed early this Sunday morning at 5:30 and got up at noon. I haven't had the luxury of doing that for GOSH knows how long ago! I wasn't even on MyLot but I was on the internet reading, doing research and projects. The next thing I knew, the sun is up in the horizon outside my deck.
