Durban Harbour

This is Durban Harbour. Durban, South Africa is where I grew and and although I live in the UK now, I do still miss the informality and familiarity of Durban. I think I always will. Do you have any photos of where you grew up?Violetdreams

The Indian Ocean off the East Coast of Southern Af

This picture is taken at a place called Uvongo on the South Coast of South Africa, KwaZulu Natal (as it is still known - so far). I grew up on this coast and love the rugged wilderness of the sea as it pounds the shoreline. It is a wild and dangerous ocean, but it does also possess a certain beauty. Have you ever swum in the Indian Ocean like I have?Violetdreams
