poison ivy

If you found poison ivy growing on the outside of one of your windows, how would you remove it? The only relative who isn't allergic to it lives very far away.

April Hiya there.,.What you need to do is..Recognize poison ivy. It's a vine with groups of 3 pointy leaves, the middle leaf has a longer stem than the two on the side. It sends runners under the ground and can climb up into trees. It can grow just about anywhere....

What Are You Looking At?

96vidalias @96vidalias (344) • United States 25 May 07

Every time I log on, I see that at least two people have looked at my profile that day, I'm sure some of you have many more. However, they are not reading my discussions, and I think I have a little something for every taste- lots...

gharinder i think people view others profile to find out some good friends , generally i think who share more or less similar interests with them, you are quite right, its not about discussions, but finding a friend, -as far as i know the other criteria they use while...

What to do for a grieving puppy.

cyntrow @cyntrow (8523) • United States 21 May 07

My dog died this weekend. He was a good dog and he was old. 12 years old. He was getting to the point where he couldn't walk very well, and there was blood in his urine. We were expecting his death would come sooner than later. So...

fpd1955 I am sorry to hear about Duke, cyntrow. I don't know what will help the pup get back to his old self. Is there a toy that they used to play with together? If so, maybe just play with him using that toy. Perhaps he will see that playtime still exists and his...

Were you ever completely turned off by something silly?

96vidalias @96vidalias (344) • United States 25 May 07

Romantically, I mean. There was a person I had a crush on at work. A lot of eye contact and laughing together and even breaking into dance (you had to be there to understand that one) but nothing ever spoken. Then one day, I...

breepeace I've been turned off by less... men that walk through the door first, ones that laugh obnoxiously, men that answer their cell in the middle of a conversation. Call me fickle, but it just gave me the justification to end something I wasn't 100% comfortable with...

Donsky uhm, all of this because he threw a candy wrapper out of the car window?? Aren't you kinda over reacting? I mean, he probably didn't mean anything by it. And a lot of people actually does that...and I wouldn't really consider all of them as " selfish, shallow...

Weeding with Water

Some time ago I heard or read about this tip and have used it ever since. If you are into non-toxic weeding solutions this will work for your smaller areas, cracks in the cement, stone borders. Pour boiling water over the weeds...

96vidalias @96vidalias (344) • United States 19 May 07
