How do you make your cupcakes?

Do you make your cupcakes from scratch or do you prefer to make them out of the box with the assistance of the Pillsbury Doughboy or any of those? I always make mine out of the box because I'm a bad cook.

Amberstormraven I usually make mine from scratch, but I can understand your problem. My mom also used to make them out of a box, and eventually I took over the responsibility. As I love baking it wasn't much of an issue for me.

Amberstormraven I would agree that cupcakes are making a big comeback. Even in S.A. they are much more in demand than any other size cakes. I think it has to do with the fact that they are more easy to handle and you can have a variety rather than one cake.
