Can you i be a good person without religion?

I'm taking ethics class and my friend is taking a religeous class and they said that only with religion a person can be good and make good decisions. I'm not very religeous and dissagree with them. I'd like to see what you think?

Anamarija Jozic Yeah that's implying to me that without a higher power they'd be doing who knows what and that says a lot more about them then it does about me.

My beautiful aquarium
