I noticed the mosquitoes are coming back. I saw a few flying over my head when I was trying to sleep last night. I planned to buy some mosquito repellent today, but guess what? I forgot! So, tonight we just have to hope they...

Almost all beaches are crowded this summer. I went to the beach at least once a week to enjoy the season. Every time I went, I saw only a few people in the water for a short time. The rest of the people enjoyed themselves soaking...

Ayu2026 @moffittjc It’s such a shame that wealthy developers are taking over the beachfronts from the locals. I can only imagine what your childhood was like living right on the beach. Visiting now must bring back so much nostalgia. You were truly lucky to grow up...

My shop has been at a heavy loss since the day my nephew's wife died. I know I'll recover the losses sooner or later, but it will take time. Many of customers have been buying groceries from the other shop. I hope they will be...

Ayu2026 @Shivram59 In Bali, Balinese Hindu cremation ceremonies often take a significant amount of time to organize. Priests determine the most auspicious dates, and while families wait, they are deeply involved in continuous preparations. Because of these traditions,...

Ayu2026 That's pretty cool. How does it feel to live in a house right on the beach? Do you sometimes regret moving away from the beach? Most people in my country are Muslim—like 90% of us—and the rest are Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, and Confucianists. However,...

Ayu2026 @Jehanne Oh, okay, I guess it is just personal caution. That's true, though. Sometimes eating too much acidic fruit can harm our digestive system. When I was a kid, I used to eat tons of sour fruits—like mangoes, mandarins, and June plums. And I had stomach...

Ayu2026 At first I also thought that the water here would be warm. But I was wrong. I went to Praia Grande and Praia de Carcavelos which are in Lisbon. They both have cold ocean water. I can't imagine how much colder it will be in Winter.

Ayu2026 Exactly. I want to actually get in and splash around when I go to the beach. It’s no fun just sitting on the sand, hoping the cold water will magically turn tropical!
