I Don't Understand This...

Jennifer @LovingMyBabies (85880) • Valdosta, Georgia 26 Apr 13

I was just talking with some of my friends and the guy is going through some health issues and he told his wife that he will be really mad if he dies and she decides to be with someone else... He said he would haunt her forever if...

BSBarnes I think this guy is super selfish. In fact, I would not wait for him to die, but leave him for someone else! I think if you are in a very loving relationship, and one of you dies, it is almost a testament to your wonderful past relationship to find someone...

I don't care for these Save a Lot tomatoes

Charlene Sally C. @PointlessQuestions (15396) • United States 25 Apr 13

I went to Save a Lot the other day to save a few bucks on my shopping bill. I bought 8 large tomatoes and I was awfully disappointed. You get what you pay for, that is for sure. I usually pay about 2.39 a pound for really nice...

BSBarnes I live a few doors away from a Save A Lot store, and do a fair amount of shopping there. It is convenient for sure, but I am careful not to purchase produce except for what I can use within two days. They go bad faster. I'm not sure where they are getting...

...books are cheap, shipping is not

jeanneyvonne @jeanneyvonne (5500) • Philippines 22 Apr 13

Just been talking to an online seller about the estimated amount of payment should I buy from him/her. I noticed that the shipping fee to my place is quite double the price of books that I picked. Although I could accept that, I...

BSBarnes I don't buy many books anymore, as I have an electronic reader and download them. However, I do purchase some. I usually use Barnes and Noble or Amazon's web sites and have free shipping over $25. Your problem occurs, if I am assuming correctly, when you buy a...

BSBarnes Running water helps when cutting onions, but it is not a cure. I once heard that if you just cut the top of the onion and start slicing (but leave the root intact), that helps, and it did really help, but not that much more. However, it is the best solution...

watching old movies

zurichann @zurichann (235) • Philippines 24 Apr 13

This past few days my boyfriend and I had been watching old movies such as Serendipity, Harry Potter series, A walk to remember, Taken, and a lot more. We just find old movies to be more appealing and sentimental. Do you love...

BSBarnes I also love movies, especially old ones. I enjoy many types of movies: drama, comedy, old musicals, some sci-fi, and even Disney and Warner Brothers movies. I still cry when watching old Disney stuff (Dumbo, Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, and more). I bawled...

BSBarnes I don't have an "office", but I do have to clean up thoroughly my work space when done. I work in the food industry. I make salads and sandwiches. I am using a meat slicer, a scale, and tools, plus my counter space, and refrigerated cabinets. When I am done, I...

Age is just a number, young is attitude

secretbear @secretbear (19448) • Philippines 24 Apr 13

Two years ago, I started a discussion that I don't look my age. I was in my late twenties then. And when I turned 30, I began to really be concerned about my age. I know age is just a number but still, I'm one of those who get so...

BSBarnes I fully agree that age is just a number. I am 61 years YOUNG. Attitude is everything. I think young and I feel young. I am approaching my "senior" years feeling better than I have in a long time. I exercise, watch what I eat, am very active, and lead a...

Have you ever given your cat a bath?

ctryhnny @ctryhnny (3460) • United States 24 Apr 13

I realize cats do a good job at cleaning themselves but I think they should also get a real bath in soap and water. I haven't tried it yet but am considering it. My cats look clean enough and have very shiny coats. I was in the...

BSBarnes I have never given any of my cats a full bath. Of course, all have been indoor cats, and are fully capable of keeping themselves clean. Once, my now-ex husband splashed mustard on by then-calico kitty, and I had to spot wash her. I did not want her licking...
