Trying to find how to remove lower forks from a 2002 softtail

Christina @Christina (1) 24 May 06

We are trying to remove lower forks from my HD softtail to replace with chrome forks and we can't figure out why they are hitting a stop and cannot come off the bottom. Can anyone help or give suggestions?
