That is, this year I'm not going to vote according what either candidate claims that their stance on the issues is. In fact, I'm no longer going to listen to speeches by either candidate. At this point, I'm still not...

baumunkgirl Hahaha well considering most of the time Obama didn't have the guts to actually make a stand on issues and just voted "present". Good luck with that!

Actually, yes it is. I have very strong views on this issue, and I'm tired of having to come up with an answer every time someone asks, so I'm creating this discussion as an answer to all. The more our government "protects" us,...

Do you like large, medium or smaller breeds? I currently have a medium sized dog. I love her. She is a perfect fit. But I grew up with larger dogs. So I am comfortable around them too. Twice in my life I have been bitten by...

kassdaw I have always had small dogs but I am into large breeds. I want a dog I can wrestle with. The problem I have is that with every dog I get I accidently turn it in to a lap dog. So the bigger they get the more bruises I have. I had a Rott and she was close to...

I posted a discussion about denying friend requests and I was intrigued and somewhat amused by some of the angry responses I got. I decided to turn it around a bit and see if the replies turn out differently. here goes: When...

mmiller26 I think sometimes people request to be a friend simply because they liked what you had to say and want to see more from you. That's the only reason I can think of to request from someone I've never had contact with before. There are people whose discussions...

gemini_rose I think just lately there have been a lot of one line discussions or really short ones. I cannot answer these, 1) because chances are it will be deleted and 2) because it is just not worth my time.

thebeaddoodler I find it appalling how many people fail to read the guidelines, break all the rules and then, if they don't get banned, complain that they don't make any money on myLot! I know I'm a *itch, but sometimes I give them a very curt, to the point response,...

raynejasper hi.. for me, it would be better if you talk to her face to face and explain the whole situation. Tell her the importance of the vacation. Cite all the negatives and positives if you go on vacation and if you stay for her. You don't need to make the decision...
