LaGitana The other side of the question might be how much complaining or nagging are you putting out there. Maybe he wants to get away from that a bit. Try blessing him. Sometimes blessings work silent miracles.

Have you been abused in a relationship but stayed anyway?

MooChicken @MooChicken (91) • Australia 9 Oct 06

Many people, both men and women, find themselves in relationships where they are abused physically or psychologically. Then for their own reasons, that often don't make sense to their friends or out

6 responses

LaGitana Actually the one that really abused me was myself, for staying when I knew. As for whether I would spot that kind of man again? If I'm attracted to him, he's that kind of man. I'm pretty sure I would run if I got a "hit" on the guy.

LaGitana So sorry, I've looked in all my recent readings, because I read it only recently, but could not find the reference. But it doesn't matter. It's inspirational because it's true. Thanks for your comment.

Should you forgive a cheating partner or let go of the relationship?

bhbirdie6 @bhbirdie6 (1765) • United States 6 Oct 06

LaGitana In some odd way, however, this kind of agreement made by two partners gives the other the idea that they can do it and get away with it... Like committing some religious sin, then simply going to confession and do a few hail marys and everything is over. I...

LaGitana Sorry to disagree, but allmy references state emphatically to NEVER put red food coloring in the water. It is poisonous to these beautiful little creatures (just like to us). The feeder, itself, should have some red marking or little sipper, because they can...
